Seth Rollins offered a damning assessment of Bray Wyatt while about the ex-WWE star ahead of his suspected return. Wyatt is rumoured to be coming back to WWE soon, most likely at this weekend’s Extreme Rules event, which has many fans rather excited.
However, one person that is perhaps going to be more cautious than excited about Wyatt’s suspected comeback is Rollins. Rollins’ character massively took a downwards turn in 2019 after his infamous feud and Hell in a Cell match with Wyatt.
Essentially, WWE didn’t want The Fiend to beat Rollins for the Universal title, but also didn’t want to have Wyatt’s new character be beaten, so decided to book a blame DQ finish.
That really didn’t sit well with fans, and along with Vince McMahon, Rollins took the majority of the brunt of it from those watching, perhaps unfairly. And during an interview with BT Sport, Rollins said that Wyatt’s character was “difficult” for other stars to work with, noting that no one benefitted from feuding with the ex-WWE star, via WrestleTalk.
