Boy killed after falling through greenhouse while 'garden hopping'

A 17-year-old boy was killed in a freak accident while out 'garden hopping', an inquest heard. Mohammed Qais Ratyal 'fell into a greenhouse' while he and his pals were setting off rockets and jumping over garden fences on Bonfire Night last year, Yorkshire Live reports.

The 17-year-old suffered devastating fatal injuries after being stabbed through his chest. A coroner in Bradford concluded he died in an 'accident'.

An inquest into his death heard how Qais was found wearing a balaclava over his face, lying in a pool of blood by a child's swing after his friends alerted residents.

West Yorkshire Police said the fence that he jumped over was so high he wouldn't have known the greenhouse was there. He died in hospital that night.
