Kris Boyd got the Sky Sports studio up in arms as he went against the grain and defended the decision to award Man City a controversial goal against Fulham.
Fulham boss Marco Silva was left apoplectic on the brink of half-time when his side, who had cancelled out Julian Alvarez's opener against the champions, went behind in controversial fashion.
Nathan Ake got the goal but Manuel Akanji, who was in an offside position, attempted to play it before it went in. He didn't touch it but Fulham felt their keeper Bernd Leno had been affected by Akanji's interference.
Michael Oliver initially gave the goal, then upheld his decision after being called to the VAR screen. That left Fulham players and boss Silva raging with protests continuing well into the half-time interval.
