Boston Pride squeeze past Toronto Six in PHF elite power struggle

Not much separates the Boston Pride and Toronto Six in the Premier Hockey Federation standings. And, as illustrated Saturday, not much separates them on the ice either.

The visiting Pride, leading the seven-team women's professional hockey circuit by six points over the second-place Six, defeated Toronto 3-2 on Saturday at Canlan Sports-York.

Christina Putigna, Loren Gabel and Olivia Zafuto scored for the Pride (19-3-1), who clinched the regular-season title. They trailed 2-1 after the first period, but led 3-2 going into the third.
