Police have released CCTV footage capturing the last moments of a Lancashire man found dead in his flat. Damian Jackson, 50, was found dead inside his property on Regent Street in Lancaster at 11.04am on Tuesday, July 25.
A post-mortem found he had died of multiple injuries. In an emotional tribute, Damian’s family said they were ‘devastated’ by his death and described him as ‘humble and gentle’. He is much missed by us all and his death has left an enormous hole in our lives.” The released CCTV footage shows Damian just two days before his death in his last confirmed sighting at the Aldi store on Aldcliffe Road at 10.18am on Sunday, July 23.
Detectives say they want to hear from anyone who remembers seeing him. Officers also want anyone to get in touch if they saw anything unusual or suspicious in Regent Street or the surrounding area between Sunday July 23 and the morning of Tuesday July 25 or any motorists who has dashcam footage.
