Strictly Come Dancing viewers have defended Bobby Brazier after seeing 'disrespectful' remarks in response to his tear-jerking tribute in the ballroom.

On Saturday night (November 26) the EastEnders star left the judges, viewers and his dad in the audience 'sobbing' as he remembered his late mother, Jade Goody.

Bobby, who plays Freddie Slater in EastEnders, and his dance partner Dianne Buswell performed a couple’s choice routine in week ten of the BBC One dance contest to This Woman’s Work by Maxwell in a routine Bobby dedicated to his late mother, who died in 2009 aged 27 after being diagnosed with cervical cancer.

In a video clip before he performed, Brazier said: "It changed my life completely, I’d love to spend a day with her just to see where I get my smile from." Following the couple’s choice, Brazier appeared emotional as his family including Jeff watched in the audience and judges Shirley Ballas and Motsi Mabuse gave him standing ovations.
