BBC Strictly Come Dancing viewers defend Bobby Brazier over 'disrespectful' remarks as Dianne Buswell speaks out after tribute

Strictly Come Dancing viewers have defended Bobby Brazier after seeing 'disrespectful' remarks in response to his tear-jerking tribute in the ballroom. On Saturday night (November 26) the EastEnders star left the judges, viewers and his dad in the audience 'sobbing' as he remembered his late mother, Jade Goody.

In a video clip before he performed, Brazier said: "It changed my life completely, I’d love to spend a day with her just to see where I get my smile from." Following the couple’s choice, Brazier appeared emotional as his family including Jeff watched in the audience and judges Shirley Ballas and Motsi Mabuse gave him standing ovations.

She went on: "This carries the message and the message that you both put on the floor was absolutely beautiful. I think you captured the song amazingly."

And while Strictly fans flocked to social media to share their praise for both Bobby and Dianne
