Bayern bid again for Kane Bayern Munich will make a second bid for Harry Kane this week and hope an offer of £80m plus add-ons is enough to sway Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy, the Daily Mail reports.
Kane has a year left on his current contract and Spurs risk losing him for free in 2024, but they were unmoved by Bayern’s initial offer of £60m plus add-ons.
An increased bid could tempt Spurs to sell, however, with the club eager to avoid the prospect of Kane joining a Premier League rival – a stance that has seen Manchester United seemingly end their interest in the England captain.
Ad The Mail adds: “Such a move for Kane, at 29, has not met approval from Bayern's president Uli Hoeness who believes the England striker is too expensive.
