Barry Ferguson senses the way to Danilo's best form is through the middle. The Brazilian was played as part of a front three of Sam Lammers and Cyriel Dessers against Livingston, but has been prowling outside his natural centre forward position in matches with Servette and the Lions.
Dessers and Lammers' departure from proceedings moved the summer import from Feyenoord through the middle and he soon opened up his Ibrox account with a header as a 4-0 win was secured.
Former Rangers captain Ferguson was excited by the striker's signing but hasn't seen much of him to back up the hype so far, but senses a natural striker role can deliver that.
He told Go Radio: "No doubt they started really strong and that is what will be worrying him, the middle part where they kind of come off it a bit.
