Barry Ferguson banishes one Rangers fear over Dundee fixture jigsaw as Celtic told date doesn't matter

Barry Ferguson insists he has no fears over Rangers facing Dundee just days before their mammoth derby clash against Celtic Ibrox - if the trip to Dens Park is rescheduled for the earliest available midweek date.

The fallout from the late call-off at Dens Park has rumbled on since referee Don Robertson took the decision to call off the game after heavy rainfall on Tayside.

Ibrox boss Philippe Clement expressed concerns over the standard of the pitch and Dee are now facing a punishment from the SPFL with league bosses investigating the fourth Dundee game at home that has been postponed.

But while Dundee face sanctions discussions now rumble on over which of the two available midweek dates that are available - April 2/3 and April 9/10 - will be selected.
