Diecast, the new bar, pizza kitchen, brewery and beer garden, will open with a full-on weekend party next month. Doors will be thrown open at the Ducie Street venue on July 6, with events going on through the weekend.
It’ll mean that we get a first look at what’s been going on behind the scenes for the past few months at the former foundry venue, that’s being opened up by the team behind Ramona and The Firehouse.
In the first phase of the opening, there will be its huge warehouse kitchen, which will be unveiling its new pizza concept - which will blend the classic Neapolitan Italian style pizza with elements of the New York style pizza. Owners say it will have Manchester’s largest open kitchen, and will also be sending out signature burgers, small plates, and wood-fired piadino, the Italian flatbread sandwiches.
