While Kyle Verreynne was safe on the non-striker's end, Piedt decided to go for a risky run before realising his mistake and turning back midway. Mahmud went for the direct hit on the batter's end but ended up hitting Piedt with his throw to leave the Bangladesh fielders disappointed.
