Baffled Kris Boyd in Nicolas Kuhn red card probe as Celtic star excuse doesn't wash with Rangers hero after wild scenes

Mystified Kris Boyd has raised an eyebrow after Nicolas Kuhn avoided a second yellow card amid the madcap Celtic celebrations at Ross County.

The winger made himself the hero in the Highlands and keep the Scottish Premiership leaders perfect start to the campaign going.

After Alistair Johnston deflected the ball into the net to cancel out Ronan Hale's opener from the penalty spot, the German curled the ball into the far corner before rushing into the away end to celebrate with the fans in wild scenes.

However, Kuhn had already been handed a booking by referee Kevin Clancy at Dingwall - and many expected him to be given his marching orders following the scenes after the goal.
