Arsenal star Bukayo Saka is likely to sign a new contract at the Emirates, according to transfer insider Dean Jones. The 20-year-old has been linked to both Manchester City and Liverpool, but Jones says technical director Edu will not entertain offers for him.
Towards the end of last month, the Daily Mail reported that Arsenal had offered Saka a new long-term contract that is worth at least double his current £70,000-a-week salary.
The same outlet has also stated that City are interested in the winger, hence the Gunners’ decision to accelerate talks over an extension.
As well as City, Liverpool are also thought to be keen on Saka, who will become a free agent in 2024 if he does not sign a new contract at the Emirates.
