Arsenal now 'see window of opportunity' to sign £67m star at the Emirates

Arsenal have seen ‘a window of opportunity’ and may look to complete a ‘cut-price’ deal which would see Villarreal star Yeremy Pino head to the Emirates Stadium, according to CBS reporter Ben Jacobs. The Gunners have not been afraid to splash the cash on new recruits since the transfer window reopened, having spent close to £120million, but boss Mikel Arteta could strengthen his squad further ahead of the September 1 deadline.

According to Goal, Arsenal are interested in signing Pino and they could strike a deal worth far less than the release clause written into his Villarreal contract.

The report suggests the La Liga side are open to accepting a deal worth around £38million despite the four-cap Spain international boasting a £67million buyout agreement.

Although Spanish sources have claimed that Manchester City, Liverpool and Chelsea are also keen on Pino, Arsenal may hold the upper-hand heading into the final stages of the summer window.
