World Cup winner Antoine Griezmann is ready to make a splash in the UK, but not on the football field. He's looking forward to a big race in horse racing.

Griezmann, who was the star player in the 2018 FIFA World Cup Final, loves horse racing when he's not playing football. He's been involved in horse racing for three years and had a big win when his horse Txope won the German 1,000 Guineas in 2022.

He owns Hooking, a horse that has won 11 races. Hooking will be racing in Newcastle at the BetUK Easter Classic over 10 furlongs on Good Friday.

Hooking was the first horse Griezmann got and trained with Philippe Decouz. The horse has done really well in France, winning two big races this year, reports the Mirror.

Hardik Pandya, the all-rounder, remains a pillar in the Indian team, especially in white-ball cricket. But, what if Hardik is only playing as a batter? Does he make the T20 World Cup 2024 squad in that case? Over the last three matches for Mumbai Indians in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024, Hardik has only bowled a solitary over. Against Rajasthan Royals and Delhi Capitals, the Mumbai Indians skipper chose not to bowl at all and went for 13 runs in one over that he bowled against RCB. (IPL 2024 Points Table)

Whatever you say about prioritising domestic cricket or not, the ongoing IPL 2024 season will be more important for the T20 World Cup selection than any other domestic tournament. So, the high-profile T20 league will be crucial for contenders to stake claim in India's 15-member T20 World Cup 2024 squad because there isn't even a week between the IPL and the upcoming ICC T20 event.
