Maritzburg United have announced that they have parted ways with head coach John Maduka with immediate effect.

Following a string of poor results, Maritzburg find themselves rooted to the bottom of the table in 16th place, with the latest 2-0 defeat against Golden Arrows being the final nail in the coffin for Maduka."MUFC can confirm that Head Coach John Maduka has left the club with immediate effect," read a club statement. "The Club have also terminated the contracts of Maduka's entire backroom staff.
