Ange Postecoglou 'discussed' by Tottenham as Celtic boss resolve tested amid patient Antonio Conte successor approach

dailyrecord.co.uk

Celtic boss Ange Postecoglou reportedly remains on the shortlist of Tottenham candidates as they ramp up their search for Antonio Conte's long-term successor.

The Italian looks to be on the way out of the English Premier League heavyweights in the wake of a heated rant at the club and dressing room in the wake of the collapse against Southampton.

Conte, who is out of contract at the end of the season, tore into the Tottenham “story” as he explained why the club never won anything and stated that sacking him would not improve the side - as he accused his players of lacking fight.

Conte and his backroom staff could be out by the weekend if they can come to terms with an exit package. Coach Ryan Mason is set to step up as interim boss for the second time - having taken the reins from Jose Mourinho previously - until the end of the campaign.
