The Italian team finished ninth of the ten teams, and the best finishing position any one of its drivers achieved was by Pierre Gasly who placed fifth at the Azerbaijan Grand Prix.Besides that, two eighth-place finishes were Gasly's highest-finishing positions in 2022.

Yuki Tsunoda finished seventh in Round 3 in Italy, but his season went from bad to worse.However, with Gasly moving to Alpine, the team roped in Dutch racing driver Nyck de Vries, who, at the age of 28, will make his F1 debut.
