Ally McCoist snubs Kyogo 'better than Morelos' admission as Rangers hero tells Chris Sutton 'of course I'll never say that'

Ally McCoist admits Kyogo poses a major threat to Rangers ahead of this weekend's Scottish Cup showdown - but stopped short of confessing he'd take him ahead of Alfredo Morelos.

Kyogo has been on fire for Celtic and is one short of the 30 goal mark heading into the final stretch of the season. His form has been a central part of Ange Postecoglou's rampant success and he'll be hoping to hit the net against Rangers on Sunday and keep the Treble dream alive.

McCoist and pal Chris Sutton guest star on a special Old Firm edition of Gary Neville's The Overlap podcast and they got into it over which of the main strikers are better.

And while the stats are all firmly in Kyogo's favour since his arrival in Scotland, McCoist couldn't bring himself to say it.
