Rangers hero Ally McCoist reckons his former side have been left thin when it comes to physicality within the squad. It is a huge weekend for Gio van Bronckhorst and his men as they travel to Parkhead to face Celtic in the first Old Firm meeting of the 2022/23 campaign.

But former boss McCoist is slightly concerned the Light Blues aren't as well equipped this term compared to last season, especially when it comes to a physical presence on the park.

Calvin Bassey made the move to Ajax this summer, with Leon Balogun another defender also departing upon the expiry of his contract.

Cedric Itten and Joe Aribo are also away, with McCoist concerned his ex-side have lost a lot of talent in this window without bringing in enough to fill the gaps.
