Allianz Insurance have been unveiled as the new sponsors of the All-Ireland senior football championship at a launch in Croke Park today.They replace Eir as the main sponsor of the football championship, after the latter switched to sponsoring the hurling championship last November.The three-year deal also sees Allianz become an Official Sponsor of the Camogie Association and Official Sponsor of the GAA Museum at Croke Park.The insurance giant now sponsors both flagship national competitions in men's Gaelic football, having been the title sponsor of the National Leagues for 31 years, originally under the guise of Church & General.GAA President Larry McCarthy said: "It is a great pleasure to welcome Allianz Insurance as sponsor of the GAA All-Ireland Senior Football Championship.
