Former Rangers striker Alfredo Morelos is in talks with Zenit and Spartak Moscow, according to his bullish agent. The Colombian forward is still without a club despite being available on a pre-contract since January and as a free agent since leaving Rangers at the end of last season.
The frontman maintained last month that he was searching for a club at a 'top European league' and insisted he wasn't concerned about not getting an offer but despite speculation over a move to Everton, Watford and Sevilla a deal has failed to materialise.
It has been suggested that a move to South America could be on the cards - but his agent Martin Camagno has touted Russia as the top destination for the 27-year-old after leaving the Scottish Premiership.
Initial reports had suggested that a move to Spartak had fallen apart but Morelos' representative has declared a deal is still on this summer.
