Alex Iwobi believes he was able to deceive Manchester United goalkeeper Andre Onana when scoring Fulham's match-winning goal on Saturday afternoon.

United equalised in the 89th minute against Fulham through Harry Maguire and Old Trafford exploded into life, urging the players to get forward and complete the comeback.

However, committing too many bodies forward backfired and Fulham scored at the other end on the counter-attack. Adama Traore found Iwobi and the forward took a touch before finding the bottom left corner, with Onana left standing flatfooted between the sticks. He was asked by Premier League Productions whether he targeted Onana at the front post for his goal and said: "I feel like I knew I could see where he was when I took my first touch. "I knew he might have thought I was going to wrap it into the far post, but I slotted it near post and he didn't see it coming.
