Alan Shearer explains how Manchester United fans impacted Crystal Palace result

manchestereveningnews.co.uk

Alan Shearer believes Crystal Palace will have expected the Manchester United fans to get on their team's backs should they start well at Old Trafford.

Palace were licking their wounds last week when the Reds beat them 3-0 in the Carabao Cup third round. However, it was a different story when the two sides met again in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.

Joachim Andersen scored the only goal of the match midway through the first half to give his team the three points and send them above United in the table.

At the final whistle, boos rang out inside the Theatre of Dreams as supporters showed their disapproval with the result.
