It was a nightmare start to Steven Davis' time in charge at Ibrox as Rangers limped to a miserable Europa League defeat to minnows Aris Limassol.
Alex Moucketou-Moussounda nodded the ball beyond Jack Butland early on to stun the visitors in the Group C clash, before Shavy Babicka tapped the ball beyond the England cap to pile the misery on the Ibrox side.
Abdallah Sima headed to give the visitors a lifeline but they failed to rescue anything from the game and fell to a shock defeat - despite having the ball in the net on multiple occasions.
But Catalin Popa and Ovidiu Haţegan - the officials in the VAR room - would step on to rule out potentially vital goals, whilst there were other key instances where the video team opted against sending referee Horatiu Fesnic to the monitor.
