Manchester United confirm squad for Europa League fixture as youngster included

Manchester United have included Victor Lindelof and Toby Collyer in their squad to face FC Twente.

United welcome the Dutch side to Old Trafford for their opening Europa League clash on Wednesday night and Lindelof will be available for the first time this season. He was expected to leave United in the summer but sustained an injury during the pre-season tour of the United States which meant the club couldn't arrange a transfer.

Collyer has also made the squad, despite the United's Under-21s playing Doncaster on Tuesday night. The midfielder started at left-back in the 7-0 victory over Barnsley in the Carabao Cup last week and will get the chance to be involved with the first-team squad again.

A source has said that Erik ten Hag 'really likes' Collyer and his inclusion when he could have played for the U21s in their EFL Trophy clash represents progress. Elsewhere, there are no surprises in the 23-man United squad to face FC Twente and Ten Hag is set to pick a strong starting team to get the club's Europa League campaign under way.

Goalkeepers: Onana, Heaton, Bayindir.

Midfielders: Casemiro, Collyer, Eriksen, Ugarte, Mount, Mainoo, Fernandes.
