A new-look Springboks floored Portugal 64-21 in a one-off Test at the Free State Stadium in Bloemfontein on Saturday evening.
The Boks ran in 10 tries, with winger Makazole Mapimpi bagging a hat-trick.
The other try-scorers were Jan-Hendrik Wessels, Phepsi Buthelezi, Kurt-Lee Arendse, Ben-Jason Dixon, Lukhanyo Am, Quan Horn, and Andre-Hugo Venter.
Portugal scored three tries through a brace from Jose Paiva dos Santos and Jose Madeira.

The Boks, who fielded seven debutants in their match-day squad, were under early pressure when centre Andre Esterhuizen received a red card after making head contact in a tackle.
The world champions were down to 13 men at one stage with Arendse also off with a yellow card. But that didn't perturb the hosts as they eventually ran riot against the gallant Portuguese.
Bok lock RG Snyman was named Player of the Match, while replacement flyhalf Sacha Feinberg-Mngomezulu played a blinder when he replaced Manie Libbok early in the second half.
Feinberg-Mngomezulu was brilliant tactically and also slotted all five of his conversion attempts after Libbok had struggled with the boot.
