'Zero chance' - Arsenal fans in meltdown and make same Man City point after Liverpool draw

Arsenal supporters have agreed that Manchester City are now favourites to win the Premier League after falling to a 2-2 draw against Liverpool.

The Gunners got off to the best possible start at Anfield as Gabriel Martinelli scored after eight minutes. Former City man Gabriel Jesus made it two just before the half hour mark to put Mikel Arteta's team in control.

Jurgen Klopp's men managed to claw themselves back into the contest moments before half time as Mohamed Salah tapped in from close range. Less than ten minutes after the interval, Salah had the opportunity to level the game from the spot but he rolled his penalty wide.

Liverpool would continue to pour on the pressure and would get their equaliser with three minutes of normal time remaining as Roberto Firmino headed in from close range. The Merseyside club still had opportunities to take all three points but Aaron Ramsdale made two excellent saves to deny the hosts.

The result means that City are six points behind Arsenal with a game in hand. Pep Guardiola's side still have to host Arsenal before the end of the campaign and know that, should they win all their remaining matches, they will retain their title.

For Gunners' supporters, this realisation has left them dispirited ahead of the run-in. Here is how some of their fans reacted to the draw.

Arsenal have endured poor form against City so far this season. In February, the North London club lost 3-1 to the Blues at the Emirates in the Premier League.

Prior to that, a Nathan Ake goal in January knocked the Gunners out of the FA Cup.
