Youtuber Chunkz surprises Greater Manchester school kids

High school kids from Manchester were treated to a surprise appearance by Youtube sensation Chunkz. The content creator was part of a panel advising young people on different avenues of employment in the future held on Thursday (April 18).

Real name Amin Mohamed, Chunkz is a British Youtuber, presenter and former musician. He came to prominence thanks to his comedic Youtube videos that have seen him rack up 3.4 million subscribers and 271 million views.

He is also part of the Youtube supergroup, Beta Squad, which consists of Chunkz and other popular content creators, Niko Omilana, Aj Shabeel, Sharky and KingKennyTv. In recent years he has also been a popular addition to the England squad for annual charity football match held at Old Trafford, Soccer Aid.

The event was put together by streetwear giant JD Sports and saw up to 3,000 students attend a convention where they were given hands on experience of the various roles available at the company. Held at the Manchester Central Convention Complex, students from Greater Manchester spoke to a variety of teams across studio, buying, own brand, marketing, retail, visual merchandising and many more.

After a few minutes and networking, they were invited into the auditorium of the building where they got a chance to meet one of their internet heroes via a QnA session. Chunkz was joined on stage with JD's global managing director Mike Armstrong and Nicola Kowalczuk director of people.
