YouTuber Alberto Frati brutally dropped by winless professional boxer
Italian YouTuber Alberto Frati was knocked down in brutal fashion on Saturday night, with a flush right-hand from winless boxer Stefan Markovic.
The knockdown led to Frati’s first professional loss inside the boxing ring, moving him to a record of 1-1.
Frati is an Italian social media star who runs the YouTube channel FightersLife, where he broadcasts live boxing matches, interviews, lifestyle and fitness videos and other boxing related content.
Over two-and-a-half years ago, Frati competed in his first professional boxing bout, claiming a victory over a 13-53-6 journeyman Michael Isaac Carrero.
Ring-rust was evident in his return bout as Markovic picked him apart in the opening rounds. Frati was quite clearly out of his depth and he seemed to drown under the pressure his winless opponent put him under.
With only seconds remaining in the last round, Markovic connected with a devastating right-hand that dropped Frati face-first into the canvas.

To his credit, Frati somehow managed to pull himself up before the count and battled his way to a decision loss.
Despite the defeat, it was an impressive display of heart from the YouTube star, but it once again raises the question; should they be getting into the sport?
YouTube boxing has grown in popularity over the past four years. Two highly contested bouts between KSI and Logan Paul first took the spotlight; both fights were huge spectacles and got boxing fans around the world talking.
