Youri Tielemans transfer latest: Midfielder responds to latest speculation amid Man Utd and Juventus interest

A lot has been said over the future of Youri Tielemans over the last few months.

The midfielder is the subject of increasing speculation with his performances for City catching the eye of a number of clubs over the past couple of seasons.

The Belgian joined the Foxes, initially on loan, from Monaco in January 2019 before making the move permanent in a deal in the region of £40million.

He etched himself into the club's history books last season by becoming the first Leicester City player to score the winning goal in an FA Cup final with his memorable strike against Chelsea being the difference between the two sides back in May.

However, with less than 18 months to left on his deal at the club, clubs are starting to circle for City's 'star man.'

Here is the latest on the midfielder's future.

In March, Tielemans admitted he "does not worry" about speculation linking him with a move away from the King Power Stadium.

Speaking whilst on international duty with Belgium ahead of a friendly with Ireland in Dublin, Tielemans told Het Laatste Nieuws (via voetbalniews ): "I don't worry about it. I want to get the most out of myself this season and finish as high as possible with the team."

“Of course I want to play in the Champions League, like any footballer,” he added.

“Am I ready for a European top club? I'm ready to get the best out of my career. We'll see what happens next summer, or the summer after that.”

Serie A giants Juventus are reportedly interested in signing Leicester City star Youri Tielemans.

City are said to have rejected their advances when they "made contact" about the Belgian midfielder last summer.

According to Italian outlet Il Bianconero, Juventus' interest in Tielemans remains.
