Youri Tielemans set for exit in Leicester shake-up and more Manchester United transfer rumours

Manchester United could be given the chance to sign Youri Tielemans as Brendan Rodgers reportedly plans a shake-up of his Leicester squad this summer.

The Foxes have struggled to improve – or even replicate – their showings in recent seasons, having narrowly missed out on Champions League football during the previous two campaigns. This time, they look set to finish well behind the race for the top four, and face a battle just to finish in the top half of the table.

Therefore, according to The Telegraph, Rodgers is planning a major shake-up of his squad during the summer transfer window, with the Leicester boss looking to bring in a new winger, central midfielder and a centre-back. To make room, a number of high-profile players could be moved on.

Among those mentioned as potentially making way is Tielemans, with the former Monaco midfielder having been linked with United. Arsenal have also been touted as a potential destination.

Tielemans will have just a year left on his contract at the King Power Stadium come the end of the season, meaning Leicester could take the opportunity to cash in while they can. The 24-year-old is said to be valued at around £25million.

Elsewhere, Andreas Pereira could be set for a move back to Europe as his transfer to Flamengo looks increasingly uncertain. The midfielder had looked set to make his loan to the Brazilian side permanent, but recent reports have suggested the move could collapse.
