Youri Tielemans and James Justin injury update after Leicester City duo miss Chelsea draw

Leicester City hope to welcome back Youri Tielemans and James Justin into their squad for the final game of the Premier League season after they were absent from the side that drew at Chelsea.

The pair were left out as part of four changes made to the team at Stamford Bridge. Luke Thomas came in for Justin, while Daniel Amartey was brought in as an extra centre-back in place of Tielemans.

The Belgian had been a doubt going into the game after coming off worst in a 50-50 at Watford at the weekend, and that proved to be his issue. Justin, meanwhile, was expected to feature, but came down with illness.

Manager Brendan Rodgers explained after the game at Stamford Bridge: “Youri had a clash of knees in the Watford game, so it was just too sore for him this evening. Hopefully he will be okay for the weekend. JJ was sick. Again, hopefully he recovers for the weekend. Fingers crossed.”

With Ricardo Pereira (hamstring) and Hamza Choudhury (groin) both making surprise returns to the bench against Chelsea, City will have an almost fully-fit squad for the finale against Southampton. As things stand, only Wilfred Ndidi and Ryan Bertrand (both knee) will be missing.
