'You shot my son!': Horror on residential street as 16-year-old rushed to hospital after being blasted in the chest
Terrified residents ran inside screaming after a teenage boy was blasted in the chest on a residential street in Stretford on Thursday afternoon (August 10).
One woman reportedly ran out yelling 'you shot my son' as a group of people were seen quickly fleeing the scene down a nearby alley, leaving the 16-year-old victim seriously injured.
Emergency services raced to the scene of the violent incident on Langdale Avenue in Stretford at around 4.30pm. A number of ambulances, police vehicles and armed officers quickly descended on the residential street and immediately cordoned off the area.

Horrified witnesses enjoying the sun in their gardens with their children ran inside in terror as the street quickly became a major crime scene.
One horrified eyewitness was out in their garden when they suddenly heard a gunshot, before reportedly hearing a woman screaming: "you shot my son".
They added: "A group with a mixture of kids and adults were outside and around for of them ran down Marple Grove through the alley.
"I heard a woman scream and she shouted 'you shot my son'. I went to call an ambulance but could already hear the sirens."
Another homeowner of neighbouring Marple Grove told the M.E.N: "Shortly after 4pm I heard what sounded like a gunshot, followed by shouting and screaming. A lady on the street screamed to her kids to get inside.
"After about 15 minutes, a number of police vehicles arrived and then the sounds of an ambulance. All the streets were cordoned off with police tape. I am a resident who has lived here for 20 years and in the last two years, the crime rate has shot through the roof."
