You can help the homeless by walking along Greater Manchester’s newest trail this September

Residents are being invited to take a stroll along Greater Manchester’s newest walking trail to raise funds to help the homeless this September. Individuals and groups can sign up to do a sponsored walk along one or more of the GM Ringway’s 20 stages in what will be one of Greater Manchester’s biggest-ever sponsored walks.

Taking place from Friday September 8 to Monday September 11, the Circle Home event is a collaboration between Greater Manchester’s Mayor’s Charity and GM Ringway. Participants are asked to make a minimum pledge of £1 per mile.

The GM Ringway is a 186-mile route which passes through all 10 boroughs of Greater Manchester. It’s designed around existing footpaths, parks and open-access land and can be accessed by public transport.
