Yodelling Rangers superfan's rendition of historic club anthem live on radio leaves pundits in tears

A jubilant Rangers supporter had radio hosts in fits of laughter after he served up a yodelling version of the 'Blue Sea of Ibrox'.

Ibrox diehard Mal was on cloud nine as he exited Real Betis' stadium in the aftermath of his side's stunning 3-2 win over the Spaniards to win their Europa League group and earn a bye into the last 16 of the Europa League. Rangers fans are dreaming of Dublin and a second appearance in the Final in three seasons under the guidance of Philippe Clement.

And that soaring belief was encapsulated by the Rangers fanatic from Northern Ireland who called into to speak directly to Jason Cundy and co-host Dean Saunders. He was soaring in belief as he strolled in the streets of Seville and that teflon confidence led to a up and down version on the beloved Rangers terrace anthem which sparked hilarity in the studio and across the nation.

Mal's good humour was well received and Cundy dropped the shock jock routine to have a proper giggle and commend the superfan for wangling four days in Spain before heading straight to Hampden for the Viaplay Cup Final against Aberdeen.

The win in Seville is big news for Rangers on three counts as they avoided a playoff, earned extra coefficient points and placed £3million extra into the club's coffers ahead of Sunday's showpiece.
