Xavi in incredible endorsement of Liverpool target as Spanish source provides transfer update

Xavi has highlighted the exceptional talents of teenage sensation Gavi – and has explained why the midfielder is an undroppable player from his Barcelona side.

The 17-year-old midfielder has already emerged as a star for the first team and for the future at Barca, despite his tender age. In fact, this season has been his breakthrough campaign and he has impressed.

However, Xavi is unwilling to let Gavi go without a fight. As such, he has been talking up his talents in a bid to convince him where best his future lies.

“The situations where he steals balls, which are many, when he puts pressure after losses, it’s brutal,” he said.

“He turns very well, he knows how to retain shape, he knows how to be the third man. Gavi also knows when he has to come inside.

“At just 17 years old his performance is spectacular. It’s wonderful to train him.”
