WWE Raw: Shock match pulls in monster YouTube viewership figures

A clip of Commander Azeez v Omos from WWE Raw this week has pulled in a monster viewership figure on YouTube.

This week’s episode of Monday Night Raw saw Commander Azeez take on Omos in a match that WWE billed as the ‘Battle of the Giants’.

The match ended up being won by Omos, but featured an incredibly impressive spot where Omos powered up his opponent for a suplex.

It seems like the sheer size of both men, despite the fact that both aren’t established, means that fans were quite interested in how the match went down.

The clip of the match which was uploaded to YouTube, which you can see above, has been watched by 2.1 million people at the time of writing this article.

That means that around 400,000 more people watched the clip of the match on YouTube than actually watched Monday Night Raw live on the USA Network this week.

For context, the clip is the second-most-watched thing from the show, only coming behind WWE’s memorial package for the late Scott Hall, who passed away on Monday.
