WWE WrestleMania 38: Triple H opens the show with emotional promo after retirement

Triple H (real name Paul Levesque) started night two of WWE WrestleMania 38 tonight with an emotional promo following his retirement.

Just over a week ago, Triple H announced his retirement from in-ring competition, just under three years after his last proper match.

The former WWE Champion explained that due to heart issues last year, which saw him nearly die, he would not be able to wrestle again.

The announcement was made on ESPN, leaving some fans surprised that WWE didn’t have HHH end his career on their programming.
