WWE: Triple H makes offer to 'incredible' AEW-bound wrestler

WWE could be signing Bandido, who was previously believed to be heading to AEW.

Bandido wowed fans with his showing in the main event of the September 28 episode of AEW Dynamite, where he faced Chris Jericho.

The performance not only resulted in Bandido being offered a contract by AEW, but reportedly also by WWE too.

The future of Bandido seems to be a little more complicated that first thought, as many fans just assumed that he’d join AEW after his match last month.

However, Bandido told Mas Lucha that while he remains in talks with AEW over a potential deal, he has been offered a contract by WWE too, via WrestlingHeadlines.

In an update, Bandido just spoke with Mas Luchas in Mexico and said he is still in contract talks with AEW. He also revealed that he’s received an offer from WWE.

Dave Meltzer confirmed as much in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, stating that Bandido told people he was joining AEW, until WWE came into the picture.

It’s worth noting that Bandido, who was labelled by many as “incredible” after his showing on AEW Dynamite last week, still believes that he’s going to be joining AEW.

Despite this, it’s interesting that Bandido seems to be taking more time to think about his decision after receiving the offer from Triple H.

‘The Game’ is looking to continually bolster his rosters after taking over as Head of Creative, and seemingly not just with talent that has wrestled for WWE before.
