WWE Raw: Brock Lesnar sets up mouth-watering Crown Jewel bout with latest return

WWE had Brock Lesnar return to the company during the ‘season premiere’ of Monday Night Raw last night.

Making his first appearance since SummerSlam 2022, Lesnar attacked Bobby Lashley before the United States Champion defended his title against Seth Rollins during last night’s show.

The attack and Lesnar’s return sets up a second match between Brock and Bobby following their clash at the Royal Rumble in January.

The Wrestling Observer reported last month that Lesnar was booked for a match at Crown Jewel in November, despite fans fearing we wouldn’t see ‘The Beast’ until 2023.

In fact, following his match with Brock Lesnar at SummerSlam, fans worried that the former UFC Heavyweight Champion was going to be retiring from wrestling, but that obviously hasn’t happened.

While WWE hasn’t officially announced the match yet, the feeling is that Lashley and Lesnar will share the ring for their second match next month at Crown Jewel on November 5.

They wrestled for Lashley’s WWE Championship at the Royal Rumble in January, with Bobby won, thanks to some help from Roman Reigns.

The night didn’t end too badly for Brock though, with the former Universal Champion winning the Royal Rumble in the main event to earn a championship match at WrestleMania 38.

That isn’t where the story ends though, as Lashley dropped his WWE Championship to Lesnar inside of the Elimination Chamber the following month after being taken out of the match with injury.

So the feud between Lesnar and Lashley certainly has some weight to it, setting up a mouth-watering rematch for the pair in Saudi Arabia next month.
