WWE: Latest update on Becky Lynch's return from injury will disappoint fans

WWE fans are likely to be quite disappointed by the latest update that has emerged on Becky Lynch’s return from injury.

Lynch hasn’t been seen on WWE TV since separating her shoulder at SummerSlam, with it initially being believed that she’d be out of action for several months.

Rumours suggested that as she didn’t need to undergo surgery, Becky would be back pretty soon, but that seems to be wide of the mark.

Becky has been out of action for over two months now, but rumours emerged last month indicating that 'The Man' was preparing to return to the ring.

However, Fightful Select has reported that those rumours were inaccurate, as WWE didn't even contact Lynch about the possibility of her coming back to the ring, via WrestleTalk.

Last month, a rumor emerged that Lynch was ahead of schedule and would be back by the end of September. Nobody in WWE confirmed that, and we were told that the they had yet to follow up with Becky about a possible return at that point, and was never slated for a September return.

The report notes that WWE was of the belief that Lynch, as of early September, would need a few more months to recover before she could step back into the ring.

However, as you can see below, the report does note that there's no definitive timetable on her coming back to the ring.

As of early September, we were told that her doctors and physical therapists had thought it would be at least a couple of months before she could get near a ring. There's no definitive timetable on her return.
