WWE Extreme Rules 2022: Predictions ahead of big PPV

Saturday night WWE presents October’s Premium Live Event offering, Extreme Rules 2022. 

With Triple H now in charge, he’s put the Extreme back into the Extreme Rules event, with a string of exciting stipulation matches set to take place from the Wells Fargo Arena in Philadelphia.

With the potential bonus of a possible return for Bray Wyatt at the show, GiveMeSport runs down the card and predicts what could happen at Saturday night’s hightly anticipated event. 

Drew McIntyre vs Karrion Kross

Strap Match 

Strap matches are never the easiest of matches to construct, so it’s interesting that this stipulation has been added to what is Karrion Kross’ first main roster major show appearance. There’s obviously faith in Kross, which is why he’s both been brought back by Triple and H and placed straight into the main event picture alongside Drew McIntyre.

McIntyre is now in a difficult spot, because having lost to Roman Reigns at Clash at the Castle there is a bit of a glass ceiling for him going forward, which makes me think this won’t be a one-and-done between him and Kross. Therefore, I expect that this will be the big win Kross needs to cement his place on SmackDown, probably by way of some clever supernatural-like shenanigans that throw the Scottish Warrior off his game.
