WWE consider moving NXT 2.0 star up to main roster quicker than expected

NXT 2.0 star Bron Breakker could be set for a permanent stay on Monday Night Raw following his debut this past week.

On Monday night, Bron made his first appearance on the main roster, teaming with Tomasso Ciampa to defeat the Dirty Dawgs of Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode. Breakker even got the decisive pin to really make the mark on his first night on Raw.

The following night at NXT: Roadblock, Breakker lost his NXT Championship to Dolph Ziggler, and according to Dave Meltzer the plan his for Bron to win it back at Stand and Deliver. However, his performance on Raw is said to have impressed Vince McMahon and it could see him instead move up to the main roster soon than expected.

He lost to set up the fact that he’s gonna win the title.

There is talk of him going to the main roster pretty quickly. He’s wrestling on this weekend’s house shows. Maybe he’ll lose and just go to the main roster, I don’t know. Him and Gable Steveson are supposed to be main roster bound. That’s a tough comparison because Bron Breakker is gonna make it. Gable Steveson is a phenomenal athlete though.

Breakker, son of former WWE Tag Team Champion Rick Steiner, has quickly made a name for himself in NXT 2.0. The 24-year-old only made his debut in September but has already captured the NXT Title and his being talked about as a future WrestleMania main eventer.

NXT: Stand and Deliver takes place on the afternoon of Saturday 2 April at the American Airlines Arena in Dallas, the same day as night one of WrestleMania 38. Stay tuned to GiveMeSport as we count down to both events across a jam-packed WrestleMania weekend next month.
