WWE Clash at the Castle: Roman Reigns refuses to answer question & walks out of press conference

The WWE made a long overdue return to the UK with the Clash at the Castle last night.

This marked the WWE’s first stadium event in the UK since SummerSlam in 1992.

More than 60,000 lucky fans packed into the Principality Stadium in Cardiff for an entertaining night of wrestling, and it wasn’t short of drama.

The event was also the first big test for Triple H to show the direction he wanted to take with the organisation in his new role of Head of Creative for the WWE.

The WWE took the opportunity to restructure following the retirement of Vince McMahon as the head of the group in July, and the opening signs from the Clash at the Castle were promising.

There was a packed schedule, including three title fights.

Gunther retained his Intercontinental Title against Sheamus, whilst Liv Morgan took the Women’s Title back home with her after victory over Shayna Baszler, finishing with her trademark ObLIVion.

This was then followed by some family drama as Dominik Mysterio turned on both Edge and his father Rey at the conclusion of their fight against Damian Priest and Finn Balor.

The night culminated with the clash between Roman Reigns and Drew McIntyre for the WWE Universal Title.

The fight lived up to the pre-match billing as the two battled it out in a classic. Drew McIntyre appeared to have the title in his grasp after unleashing the Claymore, but Reigns was assisted by Solo Sikoa, who dragged the referee out at the key moment.

This allowed Reigns to counter with his third Spear of the night and take victory to ensure the Universal Title remains his, a belt he has held for over two years.

What does the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion @WWERomanReigns have to say at the #WWECastle post-show Press Conference?
