Roman Reigns, Undertaker, Tyson Fury, Edge: WWE Clash at the Castle BTS images

WWE returned to the UK for a pay-per-view event for the first time in three decades, with the Welsh crowd at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff treated to an absolute classic night of action.

We saw the likes of Edge take to the ring for potentially the last time on the island as well as classic title matches for home favourites Sheamus and Drew McIntyre.

The organisation really put on a massive spectacle for UK fans, including two events with The Undertaker, talking about his life in the ring and opening up to those in attendance. Thankfully, the WWE have released behind the scenes photos from the evening, giving fans even more content on a historic night.

A cold photo of Roman Reigns returning backstage with his title was released in black and white, with the event on the TV next to him. You can see the defeated Drew McIntyre still in the ring, soaking up the home atmosphere as he fell just short of being the first man for two years to dethrone The Tribal Chief.

The former Tag-Team champions were snapped together in high spirits with Edge winning what is likely to be his last ever match on these shores against The Judgement Day, although Rey Mysterio and Edge were attacked by Dominik Mysterio who turned heel.

Two icons of the WWE were seen talking to each other backstage on the night, with Bret Hart in attendance, it clearly was a huge night for the organisation and proved to us why the show needed to return for a PPV event in the UK.

Boxing icon Tyson Fury was present at the event, punching Theory to the ground and then congratulating Roman Reigns in the ring. He then joined Drew McIntyre for renditions of American Pie and Sweet Caroline.
