WWE: Bray Wyatt returns as ‘White Rabbit’ at Extreme Rules 2022

WWE welcomed back Bray Wyatt tonight with a huge return at the end of the main event to Extreme Rules 2022.

Matt Riddle and Seth Rollins competed in the show’s main event in the Fight Pit, the first time WWE has brought that match to the main roster.

At the end of the match the lights went black and Wyatt appeared, making his first appearance on a WWE show since April 2021.

The segment saw various versions of Wyatt’s Firefly Fun House puppets showing up throughout the arena in what was an incredibly creepy segment.

After a creepy video, Wyatt appeared at the top of the ramp, taking off a new mask to reveal himself as the ‘White Rabbit’ as the show went off the air, as you can see from the footage below.

Below is some of the reaction to Wyatt’s return, with fans clearly ecstatic to see him back.

WWE has been teasing the return of Bray Wyatt for several weeks since the ‘White Rabbit’ vignettes started airing in September.

While nothing was confirmed right out of the bat, it was reported by Fightful Select that members of the WWE roster immediately assumed that the cryptic teases were leading to Bray’s comeback.

The teases, over the next few weeks, then started becoming much more clearly about Bray, while still managing to be quite creepy and cryptic.

In fact, the most recent tease on SmackDown last night, which repeated Wyatt’s signature ‘Let Me In’ phrase was the most overt tease that he was the subject of the teases.
