WWE 2K22: Superstar asks 2K to make major change to MyRise

WWE 2K22 has enjoyed an excellent launch and is a major hit for 2K, especially after the debacle that was WWE 2K20.

The release of 2K20 was widely mocked by the community and was given overwhelmingly negative reviews on Metacritic.

It received a 43 score from critics and a hilariously low 1.6 user rating from over 300 reviews.

By comparison, 2K22 has benefitted from a much longer development cycle and has come out of the blocks swinging.

It has a Metacritic score of 77 and a user score of 7.5; it’s a major improvement.

One of the best features of this year’s version of the game is MyRise, which places players in the shoes of a WWE superstar, with a variety of storylines and feuds available to the player.

You can also make decisions in the mode that impact your character, such as turning heel from babyface, while also deciding to align with certain other wrestlers.

One interesting feature of MyRise is the opponents you can face, with some character models locked in the game, such as Dominik Dijakovic, who you can come across when wrestling in NXT.

On the main roster, Dijakovic was given a new gimmick, and repackaged as T-Bar, a member of the now-defunct stable Retribution.

His T-Bar model is in the game and is playable in all modes, but you can only wrestle against Dijakovic, and the match can only happen in MyRise.

But he has now taken to Twitter to address the fact that fans are continually asking him if he will become a playable character, and has pleaded with 2K to make him and the MyRise exclusive characters playable in other modes.
