Wrexham match Man City record as Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney eye back-to-back promotions

Wrexham manager Phil Parkinson has admitted he is proud of his players after they matched Manchester City's record for number of victories in 2023.

City have enjoyed a brilliant year winning the Premier League, Champions League and FA Cup last season. Pep Guardiola's men have continued this form into the new campaign and already have the UEFA Super Cup under their belt.

The Red Dragons have also enjoyed a monumental year so far. Last season, the North Wales club ended their exodus from Football League as they pipped Notts County to the National League title.

"We know that we've done well to be up there and talked about with those names, but it's about what is ahead and how do we go again and achieve even more."
